DON'T FORGET TO WEAR YOUR CHRISTMAS JUMPER This is a circular ride along canal towpath from Wigan Pier to Hockery brook and then return. PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE NO REST STOP ON THIS RIDE DUE TO SANDRA HAVING TO GET HER HAIR DONE FOR CHRISTMAS DO !!!!! This ride takes the sights of the Leeds Liverpool Canal in along the way with mid way point arriving in Hindley This ride is suitable for most bikes, with imprinted concrete path for the majority of the ride. The total ride is approximately 8 miles and is a nice introductory to the Breeze bikes rides. Children are welcome but helmets must be worn by under 18's and bikes are not provided. . It is advisable to bring a spare inner tube just in case and a drink for along the way.
