A ride out to Freshfield, nr. Formby, site of the Red Squirrel Reserve. Lunch at a pleasant cafe there.

Quiet roads, cycleways and a section of well surfaced canal towpath.

Lunch will be taken at Kitty's Cafe in Freshfield

Helmets are always advisable but NOT compulsory. Cash/Card if you are buying lunch. Usual puncture repair and emergency tools. Although we will be back before dark, emergency lights /daytime running lights can be a good idea.

We never leave anyone behind
