Salt and Malt at Chew Valley Lake. If you are coming from Bishop Sutton this is the second picnic area and will be on your left. If you are coming from Chew Stoke, this is the first picnic area and will be on your right.

Starting at the Salt and Malt we'll head through Bishop Sutton, follow B roads and head up on to the Mendips, so you must be comfortable and able to tackle hill climbs. We will then loop back round going down a steep descent towards Chew Valley Lake and the finish point of the ride. Please wear suitable clothing and helmets are compulsory. Also bring a spare inner tube in case of punctures. Car Parking is £1.80 and we'll be stopping for tea and cake at the end of the ride, so bring along some money if you fancy a cuppa!
