You don’t have to be the next Bradley Wiggins, but you’ll need to know your way around a bike and be fairly fit to take part in our Challenging rides. If you’re comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour.

The route starts (and finsihes) in the glorious St Nicholas Park, which has ample pay & display car park facilities for those of you arriving by car. There is also a cafe in the park (open on Sundays). The Route is on tarmac throughout and to begin with takes you through the park and onto a number of cycle paths.  Once we get out onto the open roads of the countryside there will be some fantastic views of Charlston Windmill and Burton Dasset Hills.  On route we'll have a coffee stop at about 17 miles at the Motor Herritage Centre.
