Chesterfield trans Penine Trail Loop

This ride will follow the Trans Pennine Trail Loop around Chesterfield. Starting from Tapton Lock, we will ride along the canal to Staveley. Due to the festival at Tapton Basin, we'll take a slight detour through Staveley on quiet roads, back onto the Trans Pennine Trail and along to Inkersall. We'll climb up through the village to West Wood then follow the quiet roads and bridleways back to Tapton Lock. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. We really welcome newcomers to our rides. It’s a good idea to bring water, a snack and some money. Also a puncture repair kit if you have one (you don't need to know how to use it!)
