Starting point

Tyne and Wear
NE3 5JT

We’ll ride to the Cheese Farm via Seaton Burn and Stannington and return via Ponteland. We can ride a shorter route (20 miles) to the Cheese farm if the weather isn't too good.

Please let me know if you'd prefer to join at Gosforth Nature Reserve (at 10:10), or Weetslade (at 10:35).

Although most of the ride is on wagonways and cycle/shared paths, there will be some stretches of road. Remember that it's winter/spring/summer/autumn and there will be rain and snow and hail and mud and dust and sand and ice and sunshine! And gales! Please dress appropriately.

Please be prepared to fix any mechanical issues you may have, and especially punctures (a spare inner tube is *much* better than a repair kit). That said, there will be plenty of help if you do have issues, but don't assume anyone has the knowledge/ability/tools to fix an ebike.
