Chasing the Hodder
Starting from Longridge we'll cycle to Chipping, crossing the River Hodder and following it to Whitewell and through Dunsop Bridge.
From there we'll go up & over the lumpy bit in our way to Waddington, through to Eddisford Bridge picking up the Hodder again before we go to Hurst Green, past the reservoirs & back to Longridge.
A ride of 32 miles with a fair old lump in the middle, Waddington Fell, which will give us magnificent views of the surrounding countryside & moors.
We'll stop on the way for cake!
We'll ride at a steady pace of 11-12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together & have a really pleasant ride. We can all do the lump at our own pace & we'll reform at the top.
It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you.
