This ride will start from the car park on Sibson road, opposite Birstall garden centre. Parking is not advisable in the car park as it is limited to 2 hours. It is best to park in a side street and ride to the start.

From Birstall, we will head out towards the charnwood hills via Greengate lane. We will pass through Thurcaston, around the edge of the reservoir and across the back of Swithland woods. The first climb will take us up Warren hill and then down past Old John. The next climb will be up Polly Botts lane before climbing up Priory Lane. Once the hills are done, then we will head back to Birstall via Thurcaston. There will be no cafe stop on this ride so please bring snacks and drink with you A helmet is not compulsory but it is recommended
