Charity Coffee Morning

The Hare and Hounds on Charlton Down hold a monthly coffee morning in aid of local charities and we are trying to support them in this venture. The Charity this month is in aid of Pilgrim Cross School at Picket Twenty.

This ride is classified as a steady ride, based up on the mileage. There are no major hills so may be a good opportunity for those looking to progress from easy to steady.

Starting in Charlton we will head out across town out onto the Salisbury Rd, along Balksbury to Anna Valley. After a very short stretch of busy road we will head up towards Abbotts Ann and Monxton, before returning via Weyhill, Penton Mewsey and out to the Hare and Hounds for our coffee stop. After coffee we will return to Charlton, Salto Gym, our start point.

Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. Helmets are compulsory on all of our rides. Please bring a spare inner tube that fits your bike along with tyre levers and a pump. Don't worry if you can't fix a puncture we all muck in. And of course don't forget a little money/credit card for our cafe stop.
