Chandler's Ford - Introductory Ride

This is a gentle ride from Chandlers Ford to North Baddesley.  The route is a perfect flat easy ride for new and regular cyclists, with plenty to see along the way. Our pace will be slow and steady to allow us to get to know each other and admire the views. The route is circular and we’ll use mainly cycle paths and quiet lanes. There's a nice cafe near the station where we can end the ride with coffee or tea and cake, so please bring some money.  Any type of bike is suitable as long as it's in reasonable working order. It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part. If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. We really welcome newcomers to our rides.  They are aimed to get us back on our bikes again - whether it's months or years since you've ridden a bike, in a supportive atmosphere. We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind.
