Chandlers Ford - Christmas ride

This is a Christmas ride from Chandlers Ford to Brambridge Garden Centre which has great Christmas stuff and a lovely cafe.  (So bring some money.)  The wearing of tinsel is  optional! The route is suitable  for both new and regular cyclists.  Our pace will be fairly slow with lots of stops to allow us to get to know each other and check progress. The route is circular and we’ll use mainly cycle paths and quiet lanes, and avoid going up the steepest hills.  Any type of bike is suitable as long as it's in reasonable working order. It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part. If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. We really welcome newcomers to our rides.  They are aimed to get us back on our bikes again - whether it's months or years since you've ridden a bike, in a supportive atmosphere. We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind.
