Challenging Saturday Morning ride

Join us for a challenging 23 mile road ride, meeting at the car park at Phoenix bridge, from here we will head out to Rowrah, Kirkland and then to the top of Fangs Brow, our route then takes us through the villages of Mockerkin, Ullock and Asby returning via Frizington and Moor Row to our start point at Cleator Moor This ride has been designed those who want to ride at a quicker pace and be challenged in a female friendly group, on this ride there are some challenging climbs and road sections that will require either a good road or hybrid bicycle, we do not recommend mountain or “shopper” style bikes. Please note this ride is not suitable for beginners or those wanting to ride at a leisurely pace please join one of our beginners rides or shorter rides that are available. We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. Our priorities are meeting new riders and enjoying fun friendly cycle rides and we always welcome newcomers to our rides. Remember to layer with clothes you are comfortable cycling in, a water proof jacket is advisable; bring a bottle of water and we always recommend a well fitting helmet and an inner tube to fit your own bike.
