About the route
This is a ride of two halves with a testing and hilly first half following hilly country lanes to Caerphilly. From Caerphilly we drop down to Cardiff along the Taff Trail and into Cardiff Bay (not literally, I hope!) for a comfort break before heading back to Newport and Basseleg along the Gwent Levels.
A lot of this route is on cycle paths and is suitable for Hybrid Bikes
