This ride is open to everyone over 16 - who is a regular cyclist and capable of 40 miles, and can push on a bit. This is still a social ride with coffee stop at Houghton Community Cafe which is our half way point. Starting from Picket 20 we head up to Farleigh School but turn to go up Red Post Lane, Monxton, Grateley, Palestine through the wallops onto our coffee stop. Once we are refueled we take the high road up above Broughton towards Lockerley back down towards Kings Somborne, Sandy Down, Leckford, Chilbolton and back to Picket 20.
There are some challenging hills and fab views.
Please make sure your bike is in working order with spares in case of puncture.
Water/snacks to keep you going/phone/payment card.
