Chain Bridge

From Riverside walk we will pedal up the towards Ednam, past here will take a left to keep us off main roads to Eccles, then to the crossroads we go over onto Orange lane heading out on the Swinton, past Fishwick we take the junction on the corner for Horncliff and down to the Chain Bridge, we cross over and go to the Honey Farm cafe for refreshments. From here we have two choices for returning depending how everyone is feeling, we can return the way we came or we can carry on down to Norham, up to Ladrig and follow the coast and castles route back to Coldsteam, then to Kelso, Both ways are just over 40 miles.

Helmets must be worn, we ask you to carry spare innertube and tools to help fit this if required. Jacket and appropriate clothing for this autumnal time of year. Monies for refreshment. Lights on bike are always good, and due to the length of this ride please make sure you have at least on filled drinks bottle.
