(0) ReviewsThis is one of the rides to celebrate Bike Week: Come on, come on. Hurry up, Harry, come on!
We will use mostly quiet roads but there are a couple of short, busier stretches. We’ve thrown in a little bit of climbing and, if it’s dry, a short off-road trail. This is very ridable but a bit bumpy in places. We’ll be travelling at a modest pace. The ride should finish before it gets dark but bring lights for your journey home and in case we are held up for any reason.
This is an evening ride to spend a social hour or so in the garden of The Case is Altered pub in Eastcote. We’ll be travelling at a modest pace. The ride should finish before it gets dark but bring lights for your journey home and in case we are held up for any reason. Please note that the pub does not take cash. If anyone lives closer to Eastcote and would like to meet us there, we aim to arrive by 19:15 and depart at about 20:30.
Check your bike (at least brakes, chain and tyres) before the ride. You could use this guide: https://lcc.org.uk/advice/bike-safety-check/. Bring a spare innertube (check it's the correct size), a pump and tools to replace an inner tube. A helmet is good. Bring a lock. Of course, dress appropriately for the conditions.
First-timers welcome!
