Join us for a ride to the Cavendish tea rooms at Bolton Abbey, using the very popular (with cyclists) back road from Ilkley. This ride is ideal for those who wish to progress or have Bolton Abbey on their bucket list. The route is undulating, with one challenging climb on the return leg, we ride at the speed of the slowest rider, plenty of places to stop catch our breath and check out the scenery.
Leaving our starting point, we head down to the traffic lights and turn right, then left over the bridge onto Denton road, Langbar road, left onto Nesfield road past the golf club, onto Nesfield then Beamsley where we turn left onto A59, depending on riders, we will either head down to the roundabout turning right, or pick up the path on the right, taking us over the old bridge then right onto B6160 passing the village hall, under the arch and right into the estate by the memorial fountain, drop down to the river for our coffee stop, bring your own packed lunch or pick up a snack in the pavilion.
The cafe is CARD ONLY
