About the route
Start the weekend with a free, fun festive ride starting at Pedals Cycle Centre in Ferndown. We ride from the shop a short distance to the Castlemain Trailway and then along the forest fire tracks into the West Moors Plantation and into Moors Valley Country Park. A well earned coffee and mince pie stop at the Lantern Café is planned to enjoy the beautiful Christmas shop display.
We will then ride back through the woods to Ferndown. All of this is done at "natter pace", if I can hear you chatting the pace is right!
The Castlemain Trailway can get a bit wet at times so you may get a bit muddy!
If you want peace of mind before the ride arrive early to ask one of the mechanics at Pedals Cycle Centre to give your bike a quick check over. Parking is free at the rear of the shop.
A festive jumper and tinsel are optional but please come ready to enjoy the unofficial Breeze style start to the festivities!
Remember to wear a cycle helmet for the ride.
