Cartmel Loop

This time we will be starting from the Anglers Arms in Haverthwaite, there is adequate parking along the road near the pub. Starting out from the Anglers Arms in Haverthwaite we will head towards the Swan Hotel at Newby Bridge (only a very short section on the A590). We will cycle through the lovely village of Staveley in Cartmel and then use the cycle path along the main road to Ayside. Quiet lanes will lead us gently down to Cartmel, on towards Cark and then turning for the return past Holker Hall and back to our starting point and a well-earned drink at the Anglers Arms to quench our thirst (please bring some change). It would be advisable to bring lights for your bike.
