An easy circular route from Cantley Park through the quiet Hurst lanes to Dinton and back to Cantley. Well meet at the car park for Cantley just off Twyford Road where there is parking and plenty of space to social distance.

This is a socially distanced ride aimed at improving confidence for those newish to cycling, or anyone returning from injury, illness or a long break from cycling. The route is a mostly flat 10 mile loop on largely quiet roads with a small section of cycle path from Cantley Park and back. We will be stopping at Dinton Pastures after 7 miles, where currently there are toilets open and take away drinks available. Please bring a contactless card for drink payment. We expect participants to take responsibility for ensuring they only attend if they feel well. In order to reduce mechanical problems along the way please check your bike is in good working order and conduct a pre ride safety check on your bike. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V66yzbrZxvY The wearing of a cycle helmet is compulsory. Please bring the usual kit in case of puncture which is inner tube, tyre levers and pump. If you want to read what British Cycling say about resuming cycling at this time, please see below, the guidance for participants is in Section 2.General Club and Group rides and activities. https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/zuvvi/media/The_Way_Forward_18-06-20_FINAL.pdf

We especially welcome newbies!
