Cannock Wrekin Return

Road Ride from the edge of Cannock to the base of “The Wrekin” at Telford and ride back after a 30-60 min’s stop to chat & snack. This rest/ chat gap allows any super fit types time for an optional quick jog or ride to the summit before we ride back to Cannock. Round trip is approximately 50 miles mostly via lanes, minor roads & could include a short rest on route if required. This is a social ride and not a race so the pace will probably be somewhere between 11-16 mph depending on the slowest riders. This could be done on any type of bike dependant on fitness level although a road or hybrid bike would be most suitable as the average pace of the slowest rider needs to be over 10 mph.
