Cannock Chase - Xmas Social Ride

Hi Folks, The weather man is predicting sunny spells tomorrow morning in the Cannock area so I thought I’d let everyone know about an organised ride tomorrow morning that is leaving from the Swinertons cycles shop at Birches Valley visitor centre, Cannock Chase WS15 2UQ at 10 a.m. The ride has been arranged by the “Bike School” and there is an open invitation to all who want to tackle some technical single tracks on Cannock Chase. It is a free social ride lead by Adam Halling the instructor at the “Bike School” and he is going to lead the way around some lesser known tracks. At the moment there are thirty three people confirmed on the ride and another eighteen that may go plus others who were invited but haven’t indicated if they will be there or not. This is the description for the ride: Christmas Social Ride - Cannock Chase – FREE Meeting outside Swinnerton Cycles at 9:30am leaving for 10:00am Looking to find some new riding buddies? Meet the instructors behind The bike School? Have a fun day out and ride some trails you may not of rode before? The route will be away from the main trails FTD and Monkey, it will be a technical 13-20 mile ride and will be at a steady pace, taking 2-4 hours to complete. A good skill level and average fitness is a must, there are technical sections that can be avoided if needed. No one gets left behind. We will meet outside Swinnerton Cycles at 9:30am - 10:00am and look out for our instructor Adam Halling riding a black Nukeproof Mega. I’ll be there somewhere blending in with the group , see you there if you come along. Gary
