About the route
From the hub (Festival ave not the Jubilee hub), down Long Lane, across Winwick road the through Dallam to Sankey Valley. Then canal side until we reach Sankey way (A57) and cross at The Rose. Then onto the St Helen's canal over the rail rack (dismount ing to cross), from there it's cycle paths down to the Ferry Tavern in the shadow of the power station.
Stopping for refreshments and a toilet break.
Then back the same way. 10 miles in all.
