Can you spot the crocodile?

The route starts in Condicote and crosses the B4077 then heads off towards Guiting Power so there is a steep decent down Grange Hill. After GP we climb up to the Salt Way (wonderful views). Once we reach the A436 (which we cross) we can enjoy some flattish roads past Salperton on the way to the A40 which we then cross. There is a lovely descent to Compton Abdale and followed by another climb. The old A40 is a quiet way to reach Northleach. We can stop here for refreshments at the Old Prison or cycle onto Notgrove. To leave Northleach there is a short climb on the Fosse before we head off to Hampnett. After crossing the A40 we climb up to Turkdean. Then there is some flat where we can stop at the Nuttery which is a community cafe. The journey back is down a very quiet road, which isn't in the best state of repair but has a delightful ford across the Windrush in the valley. Then we head to Naunton and climb Summer Hill. From there we ride back along Buckle Street back to the village.

Please note this is a hilly ride (wonderful views) with a short section on the Fosse and we need to cross the A40. There are 2 possible stops- The Old Prison- Northleach or the Nuttery at Notgrove- a community cafe.

A hilly route with wonderful views and a ford.

Mostly quiet country lanes, although crossing over 3 large roads. Also a short section on the slightly busier Buckle Street. There is a ford (it does have a foot bridge).
