Guys after Speaking with most of you today, the general feeling was that the route over the Crow Road would be to hard and you would prefer it if the route were altered slightly. Alan Traynor is still going to be leading the ride and will be taking you along the base of the Campsies rather than over them. This 19.7 mile route heads north and uses a mixture of terrains - along canal paths, a few roads and even an old railway line conditions permitting. The amazing countryside, views and the quiet of the paths make this an interesting yet challenging ride. The route has its ups and downs along the way with one tougher climb but the final views over the city of Glasgow make it worthwhile. There is one section on a busier road, but all other road riding is on quiet country roads.
