This is a Skyride route and is a ride well. Details are lifted straight fom Skyride website.... When you’re ready to broaden your cycling horizons and take on a bit more of a challenge, Ride Well is perfect. You’ll need to be happy to push yourself a little bit, maybe even taking on a couple of modest hills, but at a pace you'll be comfortable with. These rides are designed to give you a rich cycling experience on mainly quiet roads with plenty of places of interest along the way. This 19.7 mile route heads north and uses a mixture of terrains - along canal paths, a few roads and even an old railway line. The amazing countryside, views and the quiet of the paths make this an interesting yet challenging ride. The route has its ups and downs along the way but the final views over the city of Glasgow make it worthwhile. There is one section on a busier road, but all other road riding is on quiet country roads. Alan Traynor is the host.
