This ride is for women who haven't ridden a bike for a while and want to build their confidence by slowly increasing distance and pace over a number of weeks. The ride starts at Hereford Cycle Track at Hereford Leisure Centre, using traffic free routes to connect to National Cycle Network route 46 with goal of reaching Kilpeck then returning by the same route, a total distance of 20 miles. Riding time will be between 1- 2 hours depending on what the group feels comfortable with.

The route starts with traffic free cycle/pedestrian routes leading to quiet back lanes and minor roads. Surfaces can be a little bumpy with uneven surfaces.

Kilpeck has a beautiful church which is famous for it's stone carvings which is worth stopping to see. There may be an opportunity for a drink or snack if the Kilpeck Inn is open.

Helmets required for this ride. There is only one potential drink/snack stop at Kilpeck, you may wish to bring cash or card.

The ride will be at a pace that all feel comfortable with, we never leave anyone behind.
