Starting from - We will meet at Woodstock Way car park in Caldicot. The car park is free to park in and there are toilets nearby which we will pass at the start in case anyone needs them.
As you come into Caldicot from Magor, go past the Co-op (on your right) and then straight over the crossroads. Turn left at the next lights (signed to the supermarket and brown castle sign). This is Woodstock Way. The car park is on the right just past the surgery and before Aldi.
If approaching from Chepstow, take the first right after the roundabout (just past the welcome to Caldicot sign) into Chepstow road. Go along the road until you see a left turn just after Marlow Vets and before Asda. You are now on Woodstock Way. Follow the road round to the right and then the left. You will then see the car park on the left just after Aldi.

A nice scenic circular route along a mixture of lanes and roads taking in Caldicot castle, the long steady climb to Shirenewton, Undy for a coffee stop and then looping around the Gwent levels back to the start in Caldicot.
We will be riding on the road all the way, but they are mostly quiet country lanes. This is an undulating ride with some short climbs, one long steady climb to Shirenewton and a couple of fast downhills. You need to be reasonably confident riding these sorts of roads.
We will ride past Caldicot castle with chance to stop for photos. Our main stop will be at the Latte Art coffee shop in Undy. We will also stop and regroup after each climb and descent.
Please make sure you have a helmet for the ride. Please bring along money and a lock for the rest stop and some basic equipment to be able to repair a puncture should you be unlucky.
We never leave anyone behind
