We set off from tenpin bowling complex heading out over the bessacarr greenway to the village of Rossington, we head over in the direction of Rossington hall which brings us out onto the great north road , we cycle along the shared footpath towards Kings wood we take the route following the railway line through to station road in bawtry these are magnificent woods with numerous routes we could take we will decide which one on the day . We then arrive in bawtry and make our way to the cafe feast a beautiful little cafe set in the magnificent market town of bawtry. Our return journey takes us out of bawtry heading up on Tickhill road then heading into Martin lane via a small housing estate.
We loop around abit of bawtry forest bring us back out onto the great north road road . We then head back into kings wood taking in a different route we head over the footpath on the great north road then into the other part of kings wood on the left hand side of the railway which takes us into the small lovely village of Austerfield taking in a fantastic adventure in this part of the woods, we then head over on a bridleway via bawtry golf club we head around Robin Hood airport on the old bawry road we pass through the very pretty village of finineley we head towards Blaxton off road over fields and woods , we then cycle on some shared pavement areas going through past Robin Hood airport heading up hayfield lane towards the lakes over to hachel woods in cantley following greenways back to the car park at ten pin bowling

A lovely circular route around southern parts of Doncaster starting from tenpin bowling complex heading out to our cafe stop in the market town of bawtry picking up new areas on the way back .

Mainly all off road just some minor quiet lanes . Countryside bridleways and farm tracks and some shared walkways and some splendid woodland areas.

We will stop for our half way pit stop at the much acclaimed cafe feast in the beautiful setting of bawtry . There is plenty of places of interest on this ride to stop to have a drink and take photos etc .

Helmets are advisable for this ride . Also bring along spare inner tubes and tools to repair and pump , cash/card for cafe stop drinks bottle and snacks if you wish .
