Crescent Road Car Park, Caerphilly. You can get to the Car Park from Nantgarw Road. The Crescent Road turning is opposite the entrance to Morgan Jones Park. The Car Park is located 200 metres up on the right. N.B. There is a small charge if you plan to leave your car. Up to 3hrs is £1.20.

We’ll be riding out to Tongwynlais and back – it’s a mainly traffic-free route with a large off-road section. We’ll set off from Crescent Road Car Park and ride along Cycling Route 4 till we link up with the Taff Trail. When we arrive in Tongwynlais we’ll stop at Plan 2 Ride Cycling Cafe, where there’ll be plenty of time for a chat and a warming drink or bite to eat. This ride is ideal for beginners and/or people lacking in confidence riding on the road or in a group. Newcomers are always very welcome however we do ask on this occasion that all riders are at least 16.
