Starting at the Lewis Arms, Tongwynlais we'll follow the A4054 up to Pontypridd. Then the A4058 to Llwynypia, the B4223 to the base of the Bwlch and then the A4061 up and over and down to Bryncethin. From there we'll follow the B4280 through Heol y Cyw and another climb through Brynna. Then the A473 through Talbot Green and a final climb up towards Llantrisant. We'll then drop down to Cross Inn and pick up the cycle track alongside the A473 to Tonteg and Nantgarw from where we'll retrace our route back to the Lewis Arms for a well earned refreshment.
