Buy one get one Breeze: Got a friend who keeps saying they want to cycle? Bring them along to this ride so they can find out how how great Breeze rides are! Don't worry if none of your friends what to cycle - you'll make some new cycling buddies on the ride. Heading out along the Fallowfield Loop we will ride on this mostly flat, traffic free path to Highfield Country Park, where we will branch off towards Stockport, hitting the town centre via quiet back roads and the Trans Pennine Trail alongside the River Mersey. After a visit to the fabulous Tandem Coffee House for refuelling we will head back the same way to Chorlton. You will need a bike that is in good working order and the equipment to enable you to fix a puncture, should one occur. You will be given help with this if you need it, but you do need to bring the necessary equipment. Helmets are compulsory for under 18s and are strongly recommended for everyone else. You should wear clothes that are appropriate for riding a bike and for the weather on the day - sunscreen and a waterproof probably! There will be a cafe stop at some point, so bring a lock and some money if you want to buy a drink. You should carry a bottle of water with you for the ride, especially if it is a warm day.
