Another short, flat ride for those of you who - like me - are just starting to challenge their chesticles, after being floored by a nasty bout of The Lurgy! A circular route of approximately 10 miles through Sankey Valley then quiet roads to Mark's and Spencer’s cafe for a brew. We then use dedicated cycleways, including the Terry O'Neill Way, into Burtonwood village. Quiet roads will bring us back to the start point. Obviously, parts of Sankey Valley are likely to be muddy.

The Ride Through Winter Challenge only starts on Saturday 7th, so this ride won’t count towards it BUT it will do you the world of good to get out and moving with like-minded friends
