Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you.

From Burnside we’ll head through Rutherglen and down mill street passing Shawfield stadium. Skirting round Glasgow Green on London road. At the saltmarket we’ll join the cycle path along the broomielaw passing through the city centre. We’ll pass the squinty bridge and the Hydro and arrive at riverside museum. To take advantage of the lighter evenings we’ll continue down castlebank street and south street and do a loop round Anniesland and re join south street at the Thornwood roundabout and return to Burnside via Rutherglen.

This is a steady ride and we’ll be riding at speed between 10-12mph. Please try and remain with the group and please prepare to slow if you get ahead of the group to allow the group reform.

* please note in order to participate in the ride a place has to be booked as we are only able to take 8 riders * if anyone turns up without a place booked will be unable to participate on the ride.
