This Safety First Cycling Group ride is open for anyone to join

Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you.

Going south from the library over the A4 at Huntercombe X rds past the abbey and onto the Jubilee, going through Eton Wick to join the Thames towpath and across the river into Clewer back lanes and cycle route to Spital then traffic free to Ranger's gate round the park and out at Bishop'sgate and on to the RAF Memorial then descending past Kingswood Hall (Royal Holloway UofL) then traffic free cycle route back to the Thames towpath over Runnymeade then round the back lanes to Old Windsor roundabout where we cross over and use the cycle path to reach Windsor. Past the Castle ove the river to Eton through the college grounds to the Jubilee then Cippenham up elmshott & Burnham Stn Rd back to the start.

A nice gentle/social paced ride up through Windsor Great Park to the memorial and then back via Runnymeade. Suitable for all types of bikes (and riders) except super skinny tyred ultra lightweight racers

Mostly quiet lanes and designated cycle lanes as well as traffic free bridlepaths and towpaths

I have decided not to put a set stop point in as there are quite a few to choose from! We will see how we go

Puncture repair kit/spare tube (if new/returning to cycling don't worry others will help) drinks ans snacks for on the route and money to buy more along the way

We especially welcome newbies!
