Although this is generally a road ride, there is an easy going trail on the return journey
This is not a heads down bum up ride. If you want to go fast, this ride is not for you. The average speed is about 10 mph.
From Bull Beck we head to Caton, Quernmore, Lower Lee, Street, Dolphinholme, Galgate then Glasson Dock for the main stop.
From Glasson Dock we head back via the trail running alongside the River Lune all the way back via Lancaster to Bull Beck
So the outward journey is the hilly bit with about 1800 feet of climbing and the return is virtually flat.
There are eateries in Glasson Dock or you can self cater. The main stop is more than half way round.
