Build Me Up Ride 2 Bishopstone, Uffington And Fernham

Out via Bishopstone and Ashbury dropping down to Woolstone for coffee, then Uffington, Fernham Loncot and Home. Most of the route will be on quiet country lanes which can get narrow in places so carefully sharing space with other traffic. For some short distances there may be slightly heavier traffic but it is not expected to be busy.

Don’t forget a full water bottle with your favourite thirst quencher. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted on then a spanner that fits the nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended.

You should dress appropriately for the weather, and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or debit card for the coffee stop. Some café’s only take card payments.

We are doing this route anti-clockwise, but some how the map and elevation profile below have become mixed up. All the climbing will be done in the early part of the ride when your legs are fresh and that bit that looks steep you'll be going down (not up) and using your brakes to control your speed!!!!!
