Starting point

Oxfordshire
SN6 8AF

From the start we pick up some residential roads to get a feel of group riding, then onto station road, remembering to select a lower gear for the railway bridge. We bypass most of Bourton and then make our way over the shortest route to Bishopstone. After our break we take a wee diversion off the main road to avoid a hill and then an undulating road (and a few gear changes) takes us through Idstone to Ashbury. To add some interest we will pop by a restored (but not working it seems water mill) before picking up the road back to Shrivenham. You will see by the elevation profile below that our lowest point is 92m and our highest is 134 so no real mountains to climb!!!
