Route rating

0 stars (0) Reviews

A scenic route on quiet country lanes south of Warrington. Taking in the Arley Hall estate and a coffee stop at Budwoth Ice Cream Farm. Good surface throughout and an easy paced ride

Light mid-morning traffic through Stockton Heath, but once beyond Grappenhall we will be on quiet country lanes. All junctions will be controlled by ride leaders

Stops can be made along the route for photographs. Great Budworth is very picturesque and its quaint houses, narrow streets, church and pub! make a great picture opportunity

Helmets are mandatory if under 18 years and highly recommended for all all riders. Suitable clothing to reflect the weather on the day. A basic tool kit, should also include a puncture outfit, spare inner tubes, or tyre sealant. Hydration, sunscreen. Mobile phone, bike lock and money/ card if purchasing refreshments

First-timers welcome!
