BUCKSHAW TO CUERDEN CIRCULAR

Starting from - Start from the Hub at Buckshaw. Parking and Cafe ( good!) available.
Please arrive at 9:45 to allow a bike check and route briefing,
You will need: a roadworthy bike, a helmet ( BSI or EEC approved), suitable clothing for the forecast weather including gloves! Drinks or snacks? (though there are two cafes on the route). We recommend you carry pocket tools and ideally a spare inner tube to suit your wheel size.
The ride is led by British Cycling affiliated Ribble Valley Juniors, a club for junior riders accompanied by their cycling adults. Ride Leaders are British Cycling trained.

As titled, a short but undulating ride through Buckshaw nature reserve and Cuerden Valley Parkland. All on off road traffic free routes, with easier alternatives to hillier sections. Surfaces generally firm and vary from “gravel” to tarmac.

Planned as a Novice ride, ( almost the first of the next month!) this location allows for easy routing with parallel more challenging routes to suit all.

All road traffic free. Probably dogs and pedestrians though.

There are two cafes on the route so plenty of options but we customarily stop as needed for whatever and especially for refreshment.

Helmets please on this Ribble Valley Juniors Novice ride. Dress appropriate for the weather.Ideally a spare inner tube to suit your wheel size. A smile and sunshine!
