Starting point

Lancashire
PR7 7HZ

Starting at The Hub, Buckshaw Village and then onto the prisons of Garth and Wymott via safe roads, bridleways, and cycleways. A lap of the prisons and then back along more safe roads, bridleways, and cycleways. In the wetter months mudguards are strongly recommended and off road tyres are required. Suitable for gravel bikes, MTB, and hybrids with off road tyres.

The route is relatively flat with no challenging hills. The surface away from roads is loose, sometimes muddy, and in some places very wet out of summer months - however it is not at all challenging.

You're going to prison - well, just visiting!

The route is as traffic free as we can make it. Utilising shared cycle way, bridle path, off road elements, and some local quiet roads. In the wetter months mudguards are recommended (strongly advised) and off road tyres. Suitable for gravel bikes, MTBs, and hybrids with off road tyres.

We will pause en-route for drinks/snacks however we have no set stopping place - just as and when.

Helmets are mandatory, and children must be accompanied by an adult who is riding. Bring a bike, drink, a snack, and it is recommended you have a spare innertube for your tyres.

We never leave anyone behind
