Brummies outing to Stratford

The aim is to have an enjoyable and  leisurely day out cycling. This will be a 26-8 mile ride at a steady pace of 8-10 mph for ladies who are confident on their bike and are looking to make the step up from the "easy" rides and travel further afield without speeding up and with lots of stops!.  This ride takes us out of Birmingham into the Warwickshire countryside to Stratford. We’ll have several refreshment stops along the way and the route will take us mainly on gentle country lanes and canal paths. We’ll aim to be in Stratford around lunch time – picnic by the river and then spend as much or as little time as you like looking around Stratford before making your own way back to Yardley Wood on the train Helmets are recommended but not compulsory.  Please bring a drink and food, plus a spare inner tube and cash for train ticket home and for any refreshments you want to buy.
