Brummies outing to Henley in Arden

The aim is to have an enjoyable and  leisurely day out cycling. This will be a 28 mile circular  ride (with an option to reduce to 14 miles and take the train back from Henley in Arden)at a steady pace of 8-10 mph for ladies who are confident on their bike and are looking to make the step up from the "easy" rides and travel further afield without speeding up and with lots of stops!.  This ride takes us out of Birmingham into the Warwickshire countryside to our lunch stop in Henley. We’ll have several  stops along the way and the route will take us mainly on gentle country lanes - No canal paths on this one but some unadopted tracks so skinny road bikes not advisable! The return section is a little more challenging - a hill or two but walking up is always an option and we rest and regroup at each "peak" Helmets are recommended but not compulsory.  Please bring a drink and food, plus a spare inner tube and cash for train ticket home and for any refreshments you want to buy.
