Brummies outing to Baddesley Clinton

This is the second of a series of rides to local National Trust properties brought about as a result of collaboration between British Cycling and the National Trust. Each property we visit has offered to give ride participants complimentary access to their cafe so we can have a well earned treat on arrival at the properties. As you will see from the list the rides get progressively longer so present a challenge to those not used to the longer rides. The challenge IS realistic – if you can do this first ride and keep cycling - by July 10th you will be able to do the 40+ miles to Hanbury Hall and back. Go for it! The first 3 rides will be around 8-10 mph average and the last 2 will be a little faster at around 10/11 mph. A hybrid or road bike would be most suitable and it's helpful to bring a spare inner tube and a drink plus money for the café stop. This ride takes us out along mainly quiet roads and country lanes to Baddesley Clinton. After our refreshment stop we’ll meander our way back along the lanes.
