Broughton Breeze

Please note the slightly earlier start time of 0945. This ride will take us out of Workington on the cycle route via Camerton, Broughton and on to Cockermouth via Papcastle where we will loop back round and return via the cycle route into Distington and back to the start. Costa Workington is just five minites from the end of the ride so we can stop there for a well earned coffee and piece of cake. The distance of this ride, coupled with the climbs we will encounter along the way mean this one is not suited to beginners. Having said that, we will not be leaving anyone behind - think of it as a challenge! Because of the time of year there is a possibility that we may have to reschedule, but if you sign up I can keep you informed nearer the time. It will only be cancelled if the conditions are considered unsafe. Please wear suitable clothing for the conditions, and remember that the weather can be very changeable at this time of year so waterproofs are probably advisable. Please wear a properly fitted helmet.
