Broompark to Lanchester - 14 miler 10:00am DH7 7RJ Durham Join us for a leisurely breeze along the Deerness Valley Railway Path to the Austrian coffee house (Just off the A691 on Station Road, Lanchester). Describing itself as a unique meeting place with a great atmosphere where only quality coffee and homemade products are served, this has to be a perfect destination for a Breeze Ride. The trip will be suitable for fairly confident female riders ready to broaden their cycling horizons. At a comfortable pace, it is off road and as flat as a ride in Durham gets. You'll be in the good company of other female cyclists while riding through Durham's attractive countryside. The railway path is mainly a good surface so will be suitable for all bikes apart from those with very skinny road tyres. Children are welcome when booked with an adult but please ensure that they're competent to ride the distance safely and they wear a helmet (compulsory for under 16 s on Breeze Rides). Please don't risk getting cold by coming suitably dressed for the weather e.g. warm gloves, buff, extra socks/overshoes and lots of layers. Please remember to bring equipment with you to repair punctures. Breeze Ride Leaders are there to help but are not responsible for your bike.
