Follow in the footsteps of your cycling heroes and take on the 2016 Tour of Britain Stage 7 route.  Slightly modified to take in cycle paths but enough of a challenge to test those legs you’ll embark on an 8 mile route taking some of the fantastic sights of Bristol Downs Water Tower, iconic buildings include the Royal Marine Reserves, you’ll pass along the Clifton Suspension Bridge enjoy the descent down to join 41 cycle path. The route then takes you along the waterfront to join the Chocolate path onto Portway before the greatest challenge up Bridge Valley Road.  Treat this hill as a challenge and see how far you get - there is no shame in walking.  Enjoy the well-earned breather as you amble your way through Clifton Down before making your way back to Café Retreat.
