Camden Square Gardens

The London Borough of Camden and British Cycling have teamed up to organise a sky ride with a difference!  To celebrate the Tour De France coming through London on Monday 7th July, we are running a “Bring A Baguette” ride on Sunday 6th July.Meeting at Camden Sq, NW1, then riding a steady, quiet route through Camden to historic Lincolns Inn Fields, a tranquil park in the middle of central London! At Lincolns Inn, we will stop for a picnic, with some free cheese to try! Please bring your own baguettes or other picnic food, and blankets etc. to sit on. There will be bike parking just outside Lincolns Inn Fields, provided by Cycle Hoop, who will stay with the bikes during the picnic but please bring your own bike locks. Cycling is not permitted inside the park. We would like to encourage participants to dress themselves, and/ or their bikes to fit in with the Tour De France theme! After the picnic we will ride a similar route back to Camden Sq. Please note alcohol is not permitted in Lincolns Inn Fields. If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.
