Pedalling Squares Café The Old Brassworks Quality Row Swalwell

The Route:- Leave Pedalling Squares, Swalwell and cycle along the banks of the south side of the Tyne to Newburn. Cross over Newburn bridge and climb up through Newburn and to the top of Throckley Fells and turning left. Cycle to Capheaton via Medburn and Black Heddon. Stop at Capheaton Community Centre village hall for a snack etc. Return to Pedalling Squares the same way. This a lovely ride on quiet roads and is a distance of 43 miles round trip. This ride is only suitable for adults and there is no number restriction. This is a no drop ride but we aim to cycle at 10-12 miles per hour. Please ensure your bike is in good condition and you should carry two spare inner tubes as we do get punctures and it is quicker and better for the group to just replace your inner tube.
