This route heads north away from Hove Park to Devils Dyke before dropping down to glide through the ancient villages of Poynings & Fulking. You are then into the quiet country lanes towards Sayers Common. You will get to marvel at the rail tunnel entrance at Clayton before preparing to tackle Ditchling Beacon. Take a breather at the top, and an ice cream if the van is there, before heading back down into Brighton.
